Although I do love every season, fall is definitely one of my favorites 😍. There is just something about the pretty fall colors, pumpkin spice lattes, hot apple cider, and cute pumpkins that I LOVE! Also, little fun fact…sunflowers are by favorite flower and are in bloom during the fall! I’ve been wanting to check out the sunflower fields for a while now, so when my sister said she was going to surprise visit me this past weekend I knew exactly what I wanted to do with her 🙂 .
It was so much fun spending time with my sister and just taking fun pictures!
Its crazy how I’ve only just discovered this cute little hidden gem of a farm this year even though its been in my backyard for quite some time!!
Not only did this farm have sunflower fields, there was also a cute fall fest!! Across the way from the sunflower fields were pumpkin bowling, pig races, corn mazes, and of course all the fun carnival foods. It has been years since I had fried Oreos and apple fritters and oh, were they were yummmmy!
There were also these fun colorful tires too. Not sure exactly what the purpose of them were…but, hey maybe you just want to run across them sometimes! Haha!
It was such an awesome weekend! Perfect weather, perfect company, and such a perfectly timed surprise visit 🙂
